Coach Williams is a 2018 graduate from Fairfield University. During his time with the Stags, he was a member of the 2016 MAAC conference championship team and played in NCAA College World Series regional tournament. Mitch is one of two players in Fairfield University history to have hit 3 home runs and 8 RBI in one game. Hitting .348 as a senior, being selected for the 1st team MAAC All Conference and 2nd team NEIBA All New England, he brings an he is a valuable resource to work with players on the nuances of hitting. Mitch is part of a family of strong baseball players, including his uncle, Mauro Gozzo, who spent five years pitching at the Major League level with Toronto, Cleveland, Minnesota and the New York Mets.

Currently, Coach Williams is in his second year with Swanson Baseball, both as a Hitting & Catching instructor, and as a coach for our summer and fall teams.
