Pete is entering his first year as a pitching instructor for Swanson Baseball. Currently, he is a pitcher for the University of Hartford baseball team and a is a key piece of the Hawks bullpen. A graduate of The Master’s School in Simsbury, Connecticut, Pete was voted Hudson Valley Athletic League player of the year his senior season. This past summer he played for the Mystic Schooners, of the prestigious New England Collegiate Baseball League. While playing for the Schooners, Pete had a 4.80 ERA in 40 innings pitched, as well as breaking the Schooners record for appearances in a single season.Through years of hard work and caring about his craft Pete has earned his college scholarship at UHart and will bring a high level of pitching knowledge to our staff and pitchers, which includes current information with how analytics play a major part in our game of baseball today.

Pete is familiar with the Swanson Baseball family. A former student of Swanny’s and his program, dating back to his little league playing days nearly 10 years ago, we are excited to have Pete join our coaching staff this off-season and look forward to learning from him!
